WEDDING: Welch - Bennett
Saltsprings - A pretty wedding of much interest to friends and relatives in
the surrounding district was solemnized recently when Gloria Elizabeth,
daughter of Mrs. Florence Welch and the late George Welch of River Philip
was united in marriage to Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bennett of
Springhill in the Centenary United Church, Pointe St. Charles. The
officiating minister was the Rev. William T. Mercer, formerly of Springhill.
