JOHNSON, Matilda M. (Tillie) - 88, 130 Young St., Truro, died April 21, 1994, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born at Fox River, she was a daughter of the late Orey and Sarah (Gough) Dowe. She was a retired employee of Bagnell's Laundry and Cleaners for over 30 years. She is survived by seven daughters, Mary LaPierre, Betty (Mrs. Donald Carrigan), Susie (Mrs. David Betts), Jean (Mrs. John Robidoux), Carol (Mrs. Curtis Redden), Frances (Mrs. Norm Crosby), Beverley (Mrs. Nelson MacKinnon), all of Truro; sister, Mrs. Alberta Wilson, Amherst; brother, Vaughn, Amherst; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil W.; five sisters; five brothers. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Daniel Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to any charity.
