Thanks, it was as I thought but as you have seen like to make sure before I
make changes.
Aint genealogy fun! (actually, it really is an interesting challenge and
keeps the mind cobwebs at bay)

Hi Lawrence:
Clemm pretty much said it all.
My great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Cochrane (m/1 Benjamin Winter) was a
sister to ³Mel².
Not everyone got a divorce back then just went somewhere else and got
remarried. Byron Eldridge Morris who married another sister of Mel¹s, Ada
Maria Minnie Cochrane, left her and 4 children and also went to Colchester
County and remarried. Minnie later remarried widower Thornton Taggart.
Byron had 9 children with his new wife. None of the children from the two
families mention their half-siblings in their obits. Today with much better
record keeping, one couldn¹t get away with it.
No offence Clemm, there is no ³s² on my surname, Winter. Almost everyone
tries to pluralize our branch.
