WEDDING: MacAloney - Carty
A marriage of interest to many took place at the Baptist Parsonage in
Amherst on Friday afternoon, March 17th, when Mildred Elva Carty, RN, only
daughter of Mrs. Bertha L. Carty of Parrsboro, formerly of Port Wade,
Annapolis County, became the bride of Alfred Henry MacAloney, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry MacAloney, of Parrsboro. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H.K.
Grummer, pastor of First Baptist Church, in the presence of the immediate
family of the young couple.
