It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reg
Patterson on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the Harbourstone Enhanced
Care Facility.
Born in Ontario, he was the son of the late George Daniel and Anna
(Braid) Patterson.
Reg lived in Ontario until he moved to Cape Breton with his wife,
Heather in 1989. They bought a little hobby farm on Keltic Drive.
He is survived by his companion of the last seven years, Rachel Long;
one son, Steven, Ontario; sisters, Helen and Linda, Ontario,
Margaret, New Waterford; brothers, James (Gail), James Edward
(Diane), Leslie (Annie), Robert (Barb), all of Ontario, Charles
(Lil), Sydney; stepchildren, Kathy (Clint Campbell), Ann Long (Ken
MacLeod), Mary Long, Jason Long, Joseph Long, James (Lorna) Long; two
nieces, Brenda and Charlene Patterson, New Waterford - (Love to uncle
Slug).
He was predeceased by his wife, Heather (2000), brothers, George
Daniel, Eric, Arthur Paul and Daniel George.
At Reg's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
