BOWDEN, G. FREDERICK - 85, Dartmouth, died Saturday in Halifax County Rehabilitation Centre, Cole Harbour. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late James and Jane (Law) Bowden. He was a retired carpenter and shopkeeper. He is survived by a son, Brian, Halifax; three sisters, Janie (Mrs. Harry Dickey), Parrsboro; Mrs. Edna Ripley, Moncton; Mrs. Emmeline Dehm, West Hartford, conn.; a brother, Clifford, Amherst. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eileen Soley; four sisters, Dorothy, Oressa, Elizabeth, Lalia; four brothers, Lester, Curtis, Arthur, Bertram. The body has been cremated. Spring burial in Parrsboro United Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.

DEATH NOTICE
BOWDEN, Mrs. Eileen M. - Of 1761 Vernon Street, on Friday, August 11, 1967. The remains of the late Mrs. Bowden are resting at MacAskill's Halifax Funeral Home, 6270 Quinpool Road, where funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. R.D. MacLean. Interment at Parrsboro.
OBITUARY
MRS. EILEEN BOWDEN, 59, 1761 Vernon Street, Halifax, wife of Frederick Bowden, died Friday. Born in Fox River, Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Harriet Soley and the late Stanley Soley. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Brian, Halifax, and a brother, Conrad P. Soley, Ottawa. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
