I looked for Hannah (Tinney) Churchill. The Springhill Records are missing
in that time frame and nothing was published in the Amherst Daily News for
her.

However, I did locate Alice Elizabeth Rector.

PASSES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
Mrs. Alice Elizabeth MacLeod
A wide circle of friends mourned the passing of Mrs. Alice MacLeod at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Rea, on Friday, February 21st, following a
short illness. She was 93 years of age. Mrs. MacLeod was born at South Brook
on July 9th, 1864. She was the former Alice Elizabeth Rector and was married
at Southampton. Her husband predeceased her in 1934. Four daughters and
three sons survive; Jessie (Mrs. Riley Hatton), Blanche (Mrs. Walter Rea),
Annie (Mrs. David Rector), all of Springhill, and Gladys (Mrs. Geo. Pond),
of Danvers, Mass.; Varley, Springhill; George and James, of Oxford Jct.
Three sons, Abias, John and Charles predeceased her. Mrs. MacLeod was a
member of All Saint's Church. Funeral services were held from the home of
Mrs. Walter Rea and Mr. Rea at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 23rd, conducted by
the Rev. W.M. Knickle. The choir sang the hymns, "Nearer Thy God To Thee"
and "Beyond The Sunset". Interment was in the Rodney Cemetery. Pallbearers
were all grandsons, Messrs John and Leonard Prentice, Douglas and Vincent
MacLeod, Gilbert Hatton and Aubrey Rae.
