OBITUARY: Mrs. Leslie Moore
Carrs Brook - Funeral and committal service for the late Mrs. Leslie Moore,
74, of Carrs Brook, Colchester County, was held in Economy United Church,
Rev. R.E. Chapman officiating. Born at Fox River, she was the former Irene
M. Canning, a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Canning. She is
survived by three sons, Lloyd, Lower Economy; Carl and Arthur, both of
Toronto; four daughters, Vera (Mrs. Walter Kaintz), Pennsylvania; Velma
(Mrs. Bruce Davis), Toronto; Hazel (Mrs. Arthur Dickie), Bass River; Anna,
Toronto; four sisters, Lila (Mrs. Everett Yorke), Fox River; Georgie (Mrs.
Edward Smith) and Eva (Mrs. John Lorden), both of Massachusetts; Mina (Mrs.
Jessie Priest), Diligent River; 14 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
husband; a son; a daughter; two sisters and a brother.
