Obit (1992) - Edna (Shon) Duffy (nee Keirstead)

I'm not researching this family, but thought the following obituary may be helpful to others.
 
NOTE: The image from which I transcribed this obituary was somewhat poor so there may be errors in the transcription.  (I believe the Herald also had an obit. for her on the same day.)
 
June 22, 1992 Toronto Star:
DUFFY, Edna (Shon) Meade – 62, of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, died June 30, 1992 in North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in New York, she was a daughter of the late G. Lorimer and Greta (Clayton) Keirstead. She began her career working for the Department of National Defense. After retiring from this position she and her husband moved to Malagash, N.S., where they operated a greenhouse. She also worked for a number of years at Zellers in both Nova Scotia and Ontario. Her last position was a loan officer for CIBC in Mississauga, Ont. She moved back to Pugwash after achieving great success in painting. It was here she displayed her many paintings in "Shons Gallery of Fine Art". She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Larry Watt), Riverview, N.B.; Tara (Mrs. Lee Gillis), Pugwash; Andrea (Mrs. Bob Landry), Lake Echo, N.S.; two sons, Colin, Scarborough, Ont.; Randy, Stoney Creek, Ont.; eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband,
Earl. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, Meredith Fraser officiating. Interment Malagash, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity. Arrangements Mundle’s Funeral Home (902) 243-2506
