Death (1946) - Raymond Forest

I'm not researching this family, but thought the following report may be helpful to others.

June 27, 1946 Toronto Star:
Halifax, June 27 – (CP) – Royal Canadian Mounted Police reported today that Raymond Forest, 19, one of three mental patients who escaped from the Cumberland county home yesterday, had drowned in the Pugwash river. Police said Forest and one of the other two patients had tried to swim the river. An attendant from the home was able to save Forest’s companion, but Forest was lost. His body was not recovered. The third patient was recaptured. Police did not identify Forest’s two companions.
