Sept. 30, 1944 Toronto Star:
Milton, Sept. 29 – Late summer flowers and candlelight decorated St. Paul’s United Church, Milton, for the marriage of Kathyrn Olive MacNab, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Gordon MacNab, and Norman Edward Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brown of Pugwash, N.S. The Rev. J.B. Moore officiated at the double ring ceremony and the wedding music was played by Miss Marjorie Dawson. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of blush ivory satin with fingertip veil of tulle illusion and carried a bouquet of … (balance of announcement is missing).
