The following obituary was very difficult to decipher so there may be errors in my transcription.
Jun 23, 1977 Toronto Star:
SMITH, Clyde R. – Suddenly as the result of an accident, on Wednesday, Juen 22m 1977, dear son of Claire and Emmerson Smith of London, dear brother of Cheryl and Meredith, dearly loved by his grandparents and uncles and aunts. Resting at the Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill. Service Friday, 2:30 p.m. then to the Brown Funeral Home in Springhill, N.S. for further service and interment on Sunday.
