Re: Conrad Paige Soley

Hi Dave,
I'm also confused by the two marriages.  The 1931 NB and 1934 NS marriages are definitely the same couple (even though Alma did not age at all in the 3 years between her two marriages).
Interesting that both marriage documents list Conrad as Presbyterian and Alma as Baptist; HOWEVER their first marriage was in the Anglican church.  Then their second marriage was in the Baptist church.  Were some Presbyterians upset by the 1925 merging into the United Church?  Could that be why they chose the Anglican church for their first marriage?
I wonder if Conrad converted to Alma's Baptist faith and then they chose to have their marriage sanctified by "their" church in 1934.
Dave, I don't have an obituary or burial place for Conrad; however, NSARM Online Genealogical Resources lists:
Medical Examiner for the City of Halifax and Town of Dartmouth fonds, 1895-1967.
Soley, Conrad - 1973
Ref:  Retrieval #1996-307, Vol. 005, No. 11910
I wonder if this might list his faith at death?
