I have his parents as James Patrick Morrissey and Lottie Belle Morris.

His father drowned sometime before 1930 in Germany. Moody Lee Lavers was his
step-father.

OBITUARY - Mrs. Rebecca Morris
Advocate, May 12 - The death took place last night of Rebecca Morris, widow
of James R. Morris, who predeceased her several years ago. She is survived
by ten children as follows: Ira and Whitman, Parrsboro; Mrs. John Collins,
Parrsboro Shore; ***Mrs. Lottie Morrissey, whose husband was drowned in
Germany and who now resides in Canaan***; Mrs. Jodey Crossman, Fraserville;
Lorway and Archie, in the States; Nellie, William and Theodore, who reside
at home. Interment took place in Advocate Cemetery.
