Re: WHITTLE related confusion - two of them?

Eric,

I think you're right - there appear to be two William Whittles and both died in 1956:
-- William Frederick Whittle (1914-1956) married Dorothy Frances Caroline Reynolds in 1948
-- William Whittle (___-1956), mentioned in 2002 obit of Frieda Legere

The clue was that Frieda was living in Hamilton, Ont. when she died in 2002.  Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid lists:
-- William H. Whittle, mentioned at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton, Ont.
-- William H. Whittle, mentioned at Grove Cem. Flamborough West (near Hamilton, Ont.)

Gerry/Dave:

Compare these two items. William F (aka Mannie) Whittle dies in 1956 with Dorothy Whittle, wife, as informant.

Frieda Whittle (née Legere) dies in 2002 indicating that her husband, William Whittle died in 1956.

Are we now dealing with two William Whittles here?

Eric
