William "Bill" White of Joggins

Obituary - White, William (Bill) - 80, Joggins, died July 19, 1997, in
Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Joggins, he was a son of
the late Charles and Emma (Hoeg) White. He spent most of his life working in
coal mines, later retiring from Rob's Engineering. Surviving are his wife,
the former Mary Audrey Tibbetts; sons, Robert Alan White, Halifax; Medley
William White, Dartmouth; sisters, Pearl Brennan, Lower Sackville; Agnes
Flynn, Halifax; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by sisters, Rita McCullough, Mable Perry, Gertrude Williamson,
Bertha Laffin, Minnie Peck; brothers, Hillary, Oman, Neil, Alex, Edward.
Funeral 2 p.m. today in St. Alban's Anglican Church, River Hebert, Rev.
Glenn Eason officiating. Burial in River Hebert Cemetery. Donations to Heart
and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Parkinson's Foundation of Canada,
Nova Scotia Division. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home,
Amherst.
