Sandy Joyce Latta July 15, 1942 - June 27, 2010
Sandra (Sandy) Joyce Latta age 67, of Amherst passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan following a short illness. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of Polly (Hill) Lamy of Amherst and the late Rob Lamy. In her younger years, Sandy worked for Douglas Rogers Insurance in Amherst and later enjoyed working as a realtor in the local area. Sandy will most be remembered for her great humour and laughter. Besides her mother, she is survived by sons Christopher (Heather) of Kingston, ON and Aaron (Bev) of Edmonton, AB and daughter Robin of Amherst, sisters Barbara VanSnick of Tidnish and Eleanor Ann (Bob) Nahrgang of Charlottetown, PEI, as well as seven grandchildren, two nieces, three nephews and special friends Carol and Brian Fraser of Amherst. Besides her father, Sandy was predeceased by her husband David and infant son. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. from Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst with The Rev. Charlotte Ross officiating. A time of sharing and refreshments will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Robie St., Amherst. A private interment will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, River Hebert. Memorial donations in Sandy's memory may be made to the L.A. Animal Shelter or charity of your choice. On line condolences may be sent via www.campbells-amherst.ca
