ZINCK, Mr. Michael Stephen - 32, Clearland, Lunenburg Co., died Thursday,
April 8, 1999, at home. Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of Lloyd and
Patricia (McWhirter) Zinck, Clearland. Most of his life, he worked as a
carpenter and was an avid guitar player and enjoyed weight lifting. Besides
his parents, Lloyd and Patricia Zinck of Clearland, he is survived by sons,
Stephen and Daniel, Maitland and Evan, Bridgewater; brothers, Kim and wife
Cindy, Tanners Settlement; Rodney and wife Kathy, Clearland and David and
wife Patricia, Bridgewater; paternal grandmother, Hattie Idella Zinck,
Bridgewater; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held
at 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Baptist Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Steven Hiltz
officiating. The family have requested no visitation at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Clearland. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dana
L. Sweeny Funeral Home.

Obituary - McWHIRTER, Raymond G. - 76, Mahone Bay, died February 27, 1994,
in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Port Greville,
Cumberland County, he was a son of the late William and Effie McWhirter.
Before retirement, he was an electrician for the Town of Mahone Bay. He was
an honorary member of the Mahone Bay Fire Department. He is survived by two
daughters, ***Patricia (Mrs. Lloyd Zinck), Clearland***; Gail (Mrs. Harold
Daurie), Mahone Bay; son, Michael, Lunenburg; two sisters, Evelyn Glenn,
Port Greville; Gwen (Mrs. Harold Forsyth), Amherst; two brothers, Rex, Port
Greville; Max; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Frances Winifred
Aulenback. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in Mahone Funeral Home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay,
Rev. Linda Macdonald officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Mahone
Bay. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or
any charity.
