WOLFE, Arthur Lorraine - Age 84 of Dartmouth passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in River Hebert, he was a son of the late Aldora (Gates) and Arthur Wolfe. Arthur was a veteran of the second World War (Navy) and also worked in the automotive industry for over 30 years. After retiring he volunteered at Metro Food Bank. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and was an avid bowler in many leagues, scoring a 403 triple at age 78. He was a long-time member of Grace United Church. Arthur is survived by his wife, F. Margaret (Chute); sons, David (Elizabeth), Lower Sackville; Bruce (Sandra), Winnipeg; brother, Douglas, Halifax; sisters, Heartha Bridges, Halifax, Veronica (Bon) St. Peters, Halifax; grandchildren Jennifer (Chad ), Jason (Erin), Ryan, Stephanie, Andrew (Jamie), Colleen, Kendra (Bill) and Kelsey; great- grandchildren Will, Bree, Tyler (who was born at the same time his great- grandfather passed away) and Dillon; and several nephews and nieces. He was also predeceased by his sister, Martha. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a memorial service 2 pm Friday, both in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Rev Stephen Fram officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations maybe made to a charity of your choice.
