This exercise will remind genealogy researchers not to be 100% sure of their
data when relying on ONE piece of government information. In a few cases,
it's not worth the piece of paper it's written on and only as accurate as
the data provided by the informant, in this case, a Mr. Elderkin who
couldn't tell a 58 year old woman from a 86 year old.
The real Mrs. Samuel Crossman is revealed below from church records; Mary
Ann (Plummer) Crossman.
I've reposted the NSARM death record as I neglected to put * Mrs. Samuel
Crossman, Port Greville * on it in the previous posting.
