Cumberland County family I agree with your beliefs. Here is some further

unclear what happened to Henry who was a year old in the 1871 census.

Newcombe.
Also, Edith to be d/o Arthur Yorke and Theresa Joyce.
Believe this John Manning and Rufus W. Manning are the same person; a.k.a.
John Rufus W. Manning.
Believe there's issue of two daughters, Hazel E. Manning, born 25 May 1916
and Josephine Manning, born 21 Dec 1917, both born in Parrsboro.
John Rufus W. Manning's widow, Edith Yorke and two daughters end up in
Michigan, U.S.A. Where Edith has a sister, Nora (Yorke) Charlong.
