Janet (Spicer) Goodall-Bateman "Nan" 1914 - 2004 Janet A. Bateman "Nan" of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home passed away at her residence surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the age of 89. Born in Apple River, NS, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Lila (Jerrett) Spicer. Before retiring she was a waitress at the Palace Grill Restaurant for 30 years. She will be sadly missed by daughter, Margaret Payne (William); three grandchildren, Shelly Arsenault (Ray), Jay London (Rachelle) and Marc London (Lise Anne); and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Payton. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Douglas Goodall and her second husband, Aubrey Bateman. At her request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton, on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 1:30pm with Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Anyone wishing to made a donation in memory of Janet, may do so to the Moncton S.P.C.A. or to any memorial of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, (506) 857-8564.
