I have his son's mother as Karen Marie Crossman who died 16-January-2010 (see her obit below). She was the daughter of Abagail MacDonald-Lockie-Crossman and the late Gordon Keith Crossman. Gordon's father was Harley Lloyd Crossman of Fraserville, NS. - Eric

MacINTYRE, Ian Munroe - Born in Antigonish on July 7, 1956, a son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Ballantyne) MacIntyre, died at home on January 28, 2010. He is survived by his beloved son, ***Brendon Kyle Crossman***; partner, Dawn White; brother, David (Jean), Chebot and Miriam Cormier, and many aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ian was predeceased by brothers, Bobby, Eddie, Gerry and sister, Mary Elaine. Ian had a long career in tourism working with Nova Tours. In the last few years, he has explored his love of writing and was working on publishing his memoir. He most recently completed the mobile crane course. Ian was an avid music lover who played guitar and wrote his own lyrics. He loved to listen to the old rock and roll songs. He enjoyed his solitude, and a firm believer in A.A. He loved to live near the beach where he swam from May to October. In his younger years he participated in many triathlons. Visitation will be today, January 31, from 6-9 p.m., in MacIsaac Funeral Home in Antigonish. The funeral will be held in St. Ninian's Cathedral at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 1, Rev. MacVICAR (Crossman), Karen Marie - October 21, 1962 - January 16, 2010. She was a daughter of Abagail (MacDonald) Lockie and the late Gordon Crossman. She is survived by her husband, Ken MacVicar and son, ***Brendon Kyle Crossman***, a student at Dalhousie of whom she was so proud. Karen is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Abagail and James Lockie, Dartmouth; sisters, Chris Lutley (Rob), Brookside; Rose Whyte (Terry), Unionville, Ont.; Carol Edwards (Wayne), Brookside; brothers, Michael and Andrew (Alice) Crossman and sister-in-law, Cindy Crossman, all of Dartmouth. Karen is also survived by her mother-in-law, Marie MacVicar, Sydney; sisters-in-law, Nancy Drohan and Diane Miller, Sydney, and brothers-in-law, Tommy, Wayne and Lorne MacVicar. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. She was a wonderful person and was incredibly strong and fought that awful disease so hard. Our lives, the world, is a much emptier place without her. Visitation Tuesday, January 19, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with service on Wednesday at 2 p.m., both in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth.
