CROSSMAN, REGINALD J. - It is with great sadness we announce the death of Reginald J. Crossman. He was the loving husband of the late Eileen "Dee Dee" (Craft) Crossman. Reggie passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on January 28, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Reggie was born on March 22, 1932 in Port Elgin, N.B. to the late Clarence and Margaret (Legere) Crossman. He was employed with Labatt's Brewery for many years until his retirement. He loved going to his trailer at Pirates Cove Camp Ground and enjoying his summers with all of his buddies. He attended functions and Crib nights at St. Mark's Church. He loved hockey, boxing, hunting, and tinkering in his workshop. Reggie is survived by two daughters Deborah (Peter) Holmes of Saint John, Brenda (John) Gale of Martinon, one sister Beatrice Legere of Saint John, four grandchildren Cynthia and Cheri Holmes of Toronto, Jason (Amanda) Daigle of Saint John and Melissa Daigle of Martinon, two great-grandchildren, Austin Daigle and Bryce Carroll and his special companion "Benji", several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents Reggie was predeceased by two sisters Josephine Stevens and Lillian Legere and one brother Joseph Crossman. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. 634-1701). By request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1 pm. Interment of Reginald and his late wife DeeDee will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will follow at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
