Lawrence:

No, this is his second marriage.

His m/1 was 23 Oct 1965 in Springhill to Pauline Margaret Tibbetts.

He m/2 Sylvia May Spicer in June / July, 1992 on the Port Greville Beach.
This was possibly Sylvia¹s 4th relationship.

Pauline Margaret Tibbetts m/2 Bernard D. ³String² Spence on 12 Nov 1982,
Southampton; Bernard himself having been previously married to Barbara
Parsons who m/2 Boyen Gonyea.

Confused yet?
