Re: James Richard Byrne of Halifax and Amherst

Question folks. I believe this is the same 'Sonny' McCully as below. IF so
is this a first or second marriage for him

Parrsboro & Area Vital Statistics from Newpapers, Vol. 2 - by Heather Smith

McCulley, Robie (Sonny), son of Ella & late Brenton McCulley, married Port
Greville Beach 1992

Sylvia May Spicer, dau. of late Bob & Leola Spicer, Spencer's Island.

I copied the first obit awhile back but unfortunately, didn't date it and
only sent it to the late Jack Wagstaff, Jim Welsh and possibly George

The way it's written doesn't make sense "genealogically" wise. Deborah Lynn
McCully (d/o Robie Brenton "Sonny" McCully and Pauline Margaret Tibbetts) in
here was born in 1967 and is too young to be the birth mother. "Sonny" her
father was born 1938 while Margaret, her mother was born 1947.

I have Deborah Lynn McCully as m/1 Michael Bryne; m/2 Michael McCully;
possibly m/3 (?) Morris.

The way I see it is:

Michael Byrne Jr. is s/o Michael Byrne Sr. and Carmel (?). He was previously
married to Sharon Dunnett (d/o Alexander Dunnett) before he married Deborah
Lynn McCully.

This James Richard Byrne has to be s/o Michael Byrne and Sharon Dunnett.

I have Ellen Byrne as d/o Michael Byrne Jr. and and Deborah Lynn McCully.

This marriage separates with Deborah Lynn m/2 Michael McCully with issue of
Mark McCully.

Leah Byrne has to be by Sharon (Dunnett) Byrne either before or after her
separation from Michael Byrne Jr.

Any ideas? Thoughts?

Note: Believe Deborah "Dunnett" should possibly be Deborah McCully; Ellen
Byrne is by Michael Byrne Jr. & Deborah Lynn McCully; Mark McCully hasn't
been born yet. = Dave Winter, 13 Jan 2010
