OBITUARY: Robert W. Logan
Parrsboro - Robert W. Logan, 70, of Parrsboro, died Saturday in South
Cumberland Memorial Hospital here. Born in Cross Creek, N.B., he was a son
of the late John and Annie (Cooper) Logan. He served Overseas during the
Second World War with the West Nova Scotia Highlanders and was a retired
lumberman. Surviving are a son, Robert, London, Ont.; a sister, Dora (Mrs.
Roy Amon), Pictou; two brothers, George, Parrsboro; Allan, New Glasgow; five
grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister,
Frances and a brother, Clarence. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home,
Parrsboro. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in St. George's Anglican Church,
Rev. Whitney Trueman officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

OBITUARY: Clarence C. Logan
Parrsboro - Clarence C. Logan, 64, of Parrsboro, died Monday at home. Born
in Cross Creek, N.B., he was a son of the late John and Annie (Cooper)
Logan. He was a former manager of M.W. Graves Blueberry Plant, Parrsboro for
28 years. Surviving besides his wife, the former Phyllis Lamb, are five
daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Ralph Willigar), West Brook; Carol (Mrs. Larry
Nickol), Dartmouth; Sherrie (Mrs. Wayne Glennie), River Hebert; Mrs. Edith
McCully, Amherst; Mrs. Joyce LeMont, Parrsboro; two sons, Harold, Parrsboro;
Charles, West Brook; a sister, Dora (Mrs. Roy Amon), Pictou; three brothers,
George and Robert, both of Parrsboro; Allan, Pictou; He was predeceased by a
sister, Frances. The body is at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral
will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. In St. George's Anglican Church, Rev. Whitney
Trueman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart
Fund.
