Eric:
You¹re GOOOOOOOD!
Where have I heard the name, George Douglas West before? That¹s possibly why
we can¹t locate a marriage for George Douglas West and Minnie Amelia Legge
she wasn¹t divorced from John William Taylor?
John William must have been ³playing around² with Lila on the side, Minnie
Amelia finds out and took her 2 children, Leona Lou ³Lulu² Taylor, born 1888
and Charles Harold Taylor, born 1891 and left the scene, later hooking up
with George Douglas West of Halfway River and having 2 more children, Ada
Susan West in 1901 and Bertha Rosetta West in 1902.
Therefore, Margaret Blanche, born 8 Nov 1892, Mary Matilda, born 26 Oct 1895
and Harriet Ethel, born 3 Mar 1897 ALL have to be the illegitimate daughters
of John William Taylor and Delila Elmira ³Lila² McCullough before he finally
marries her on 7 Jul 1906.
Haven¹t located Margaret Blanche on the 1901 Census yet though.
This is her in 1911:
Automated Genealogy Version;
1911 Cumberland County Census, Port Greville family #113, TAYLOR:
