Eric:
My understanding is Amelia Legere may possibly have died following
childbirth of Margaret Blanche. He then started living with Lila (needed a
mother to look after infant daughter, Margaret Blanche?) and had 2
illegitimate daughters by Lila; Mary Matilda and Harriet Ethel before he
finally m/2 Lila in 1906.
Jim may be able to elaborate on this a bit more.
