I have his wife as Elva Gwendolyn Aylward, d/o Frederick St. Clair Aylward
and Josephine Elizabeth Canning.
I have his wife as deceased 10 Sep 1973 but couldn't locate her obit on the
Herald Obit Index at the Archives.

OBITUARY: M.L. Dunphy
Parrsboro - Town Councilor, Morley L. Dunphy drowned Sunday night when he
apparently fell out of the boat from which he had been fishing in Parrsboro
harbor. Town police said that the incident occurred around 9 p.m. The body
was found in the harbor Monday morning at approximately 9 a.m. Born in
Parrsboro, he was the son of Percy and Frances (Patterson) Dunphy. Mr.
Dunphy was a member of the Parrsboro Town Council and operated Dunphy's Taxi
Service. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Elva
Alward; one daughter, Laura Lee, at home; four sisters, Dorothy (Mrs. John
Chambers), Whitby, Ont.; Doris (Mrs. Floyd Brown) and Sharon (Mrs. Edward
Finn), both of Scarborough, Ont.; and Shirley (Mrs. Horace Pugsley),
Moncton, N.B.; one brother, Ronnie, Parrsboro. The body is at Smith's
Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. In
the Baptist Church, Parrsboro, with Rev. Hazen Bezanson officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
