Anyone know where and when her husband, Percy Lee Varner died?

I have her as mother of Harold Richard Varner and grandmother of Gerald
Douglas "Jerry" Varver who m/1 Marion Meaurita Baker. Marion's mother,
Meaurita Mamie was a McCully from Port Greville.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Percy Varner
Diligent River - The death of Mrs. Percy Varner occurred Tuesday, April 22
at her home in Diligent River following a lengthy illness. She was born in
New Germany, N.S. On November 15, 1882 and for the past 40 years had been a
resident of Diligent River. She was the former Georgina Mae Dorey, a devoted
member of St. John's Anglican Church. Surviving are her husband; one son,
Harold, Springhill; her mother, Mrs. Alex Dorey, Canning, N.S.; three
sisters, Effie (Mrs. Joseph Bennett), Canning; Louise (Mrs. Fred Jefferson),
Bridgetown; Olive (Mrs. Gibbons), Ontario; and four brothers, Arthur Dorey,
Canning; Harry Dorey, Liverpool; Hiram Dorey, Saint John, N.B.; Leland
Dorey, Liverpool; also three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The
remains are resting at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Interment will be in
St. John's Cemetery, Friday at 2 p.m.
