below.

I checked the Truro Daily News newspaper for her father's 17 Aug 1961 obit
(Frederick St. Clair Aylward) but the newspapers from July 1 to Dec 31, 1961
are missing. Nothing was published in the Parrsboro Record newspaper in this
time frame.

OBITUARY:
FELTMATE, Mabel Delores - 66, Bible Hill, died July 1, 1997, in Colchester
Regional Hospital, Truro. Born at Five Islands, she was a daughter of the
late Frederick and Josephine (Canning) Alyward. She was a member of
Immaculate Conception Church, Truro. Surviving are her husband, John
Patrick; sisters, Beryl Smith, Marie Canning, Truro; Ethel Yorke, Parrsboro;
Hazel Manning, Onslow; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
sister, Alva. Visitation 2-5, 7-10 p.m. today in Colchester Community
Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate
Conception Church, Truro, Rev. Vernon Driscoll officiating. Burial in Robie
Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
