McCULLY, Emerson F. - 99, Ward's Brook, Cumberland Co., died Tuesday,
November 30, 1999, in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro.
Born in Ward's Brook, he was a son of the late Semore and Maude (Ells)
McCully. He was a retired seaman, shipbuilder and lumberman. He is survived
by daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Jenkins, Parrsboro; daughter-in -law, Laura
Smith, Barrie, Ont.; brother, Lorne, Parrsboro; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude
Newcombe, Parrsboro; Mrs. Carrie Legere, Amherst; Mrs. Marita Hannah,
Springhill; Mrs. Ruby Allen, Fox River; granddaughters, Debbie Ellis,
Brandon McCully, Erin McCully, Jackie Jenkins; grandsons, Larry McCully;
David Jenkins; great granddaughters, Brittany McCully, Leslie Stoneham;
great-grandsons, Jimmy Ellis, Clinton Stoneham; several nieces and nephews,
including Rev. Jean Simms-Mills, and husband Gerry, Fraserville with whom he
lived periodically for several years. He was predeceased by his wife, the
former Ruby MacGillivary; sisters, Winnie and Gleta; sons, Stewart and
Morris; brother, Brenton; grandson, Morris. Visitation today (Thursday) 10
a.m.-12 noon and 2-4 p.m., in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral
will be held 4 p.m. today, Rev. James Bushell officiating. Burial in the
Port Greville United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity
of choice.

As for "absolutely Frederick, not Emerson", I agree with your findings.
If Mickey Mouse (Mary Brown) is monitoring this posting, as the transcriber
of the 1911 Port Greville Census, she may be able to access the line and
change it. I was also a transcriber of some of the 1911 Census and can log
on but not actually change another transcriber's work.
