Eric:
A real puzzler for sure!
The only McCully daughters old enough to have him were:
Winnie but she married 15 Jul 1919 to Bertram Amos McKay of Shulee
Gertrude but she married 11 Sep 1923 to Alvin Emerson Necombe
Carrie but she married 25 Sep 1924 to Onslow Alexander ³Onnie² Legere
But then there¹s Bertha married 1 Nov 1928 to Roland Walter Marsh and died
13 Aug 1943. She¹d be single and about age 15 when ³Willie² was born IF she
was his birth mother. Bertha and Meaurita appear to be twin sisters. I can¹t
see Meaurita as Wilie¹s mother as she recognized Murray so why wouldn¹t she
recognize Willie?
Ruby and Gletta would have been too young.
Also in Willie¹s obit, odd none of his 2 wives are mentioned; Mary Shannon
and Christine Mae Avery.
Guess I¹ll have to add Winnie and Bertha¹s obits to the bucket list.
Winnie was alive in 1985 when Brenton died but deceased in 1999 when Gletta
and Emerson died.
Has anyone checked the Herald Obit CD searching McCully/McCulley -
McKay/MacKay?
Dave
