After receiving a few tips off line from a fellow researcher, I did enough
digging today in the Archives to be pretty sure all the children listed in
Meaurita Mamie McCully's obit (posted several days ago) all have the
surname, Baker EXCEPT Murray St. Clair who's McCully (father unknown) and
James Frederick who's Hahnen.
Between 1931 and 1945, Meaurita had 10 children and was left a widow and
expecting another when John Lawrence Baker died 31 Dec 1945. By 1953 when
her father, Seamore McCully died, Meaurita was m/2 to widower, Frederick
Hahnen and later had issue of another son, James Frederick.
The New Glasgow's Evening News newspapers were missing in the 31 Dec 1945
range to see if John Lawrence Baker had an obit published.
