MCCULLY, IRENE TWILAH

McCULLY, Irene Twilah - 73, Eastern Avenue, Parrsboro, died April 5, 1998,
at home. Born in Lynn Road, Colchester Co., she was a daughter of the late
Edward and Doris (McAloney) Carr. She was a veteran of the Second World War,
serving with the RCAF. She was employed at the Parrsboro Crossroads Co-op
for more than 15 years. She was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch
45, Parrsboro. Surviving are her husband, Gerald; sons, Grant, Gravenhurst,
Ont.; Edward, Charles, Parrsboro; sisters, Betty Collinson, Mildred
Carr-Schrum, Parrsboro; Phyllis Burke, Amherst; brother, Charles, Parrsboro;
six grandchildren; a great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter in
infancy; son, Gerald. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home,
Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday in Port Greville United Church, Rev. Peter
Smith officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Donations to Heart and
Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to any charity.
