On Wednesday, November 19, CBC Radio will broadcast a program recorded
by John GREW, formerly of Oxford, before his departure to Paris, France.

At the regular church service at the Oxford Baptist church, new choir
gowns and hats were dedicated in memory of the late Miss Mary Agusta HUNTER.

Trinity United Church, Oxford, will celebrate another anniversary on
Sunday, November 23.

The Oxford Branch of the Bank of Nova Scotia was opened on November 18,
1889, and this week observes its 50th anniversary, with Mr. W.M. STEEVES
as the present manager.

The first edition of The Spy, a midget newspaper published by several
high school students, was issued on November 13.
