Webb, Logan A.

WEBB, Logan A. - 74, East Uniacke, died May 20, 1994, in Camp Hill
Medical Centre, Halifax. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late
David and Marguerite (Johnson) Webb. He was a veteran of the Second
World War, serving with the 37th Provo Company. He was a retired welder
employed for 35 years with Webb Engineering Ltd. and Purdy Brothers. He
was a member of Bayers Road Baptist Church. He was an avid camper and
fisherman. He is survived by his wife, the former Beryl Yorke; daughter,
Patricia (Mrs. James MacLean), Halifax; seven sons, Allison, twins
Ronald (Ronnie) and Donald (Donnie), Kevin, all of Halifax; Gary, Five
Islands; David, Steven, both of East Uniacke; brother, Arthur, Port
Howe; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by
two sisters, Edna, Marguerite; three brothers, Merlin, Russell, Harry; a
grandson. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral
Home, Parrsboro. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Peniel United Church,
Five Islands, Rev. Donal Weicker and Rev. G.S. McGray officiating.
Burial will follow in Five Islands Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be
made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
