Tammy and Jamie.
You¹ve been a great help. Although partially brought up on the Parrsboro
Shore, I¹ve been away from the area to long now to know many of the younger
³Parrsboro² families.

COOMBES, M. Eileen
COOMBES, M. Eileen - 53 Spring St., Parrsboro, passed away Tuesday, February
15, 2005, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by her
family. Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Winnifred
(Moore) Grint. She was employed in the banking and insurance industries for
many years as a bookkeeper. She served on the Parrsboro Town Council for
several years. She was a member of Parrsboro Baptist Church where she served
as treasurer for many years. She is survived by her husband, John; daughter,
Marilyn Winters (Donnie), Parrsboro; son, Jason (Josie), Halifax;
grandchildren, ***Tim Babineau (Kim), Parrsboro; Tammy Hunter (Jim),
Halifax; Jamie Babineau (Meghan), Calgary***; great-grandson, Ben Babineau;
nephew, Stephen Sullivan, Halifax. She was predeceased by sister, Shirley.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral
service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. A private
family committal service will follow in St. George's Anglican Cemetery,
Parrsboro. Because of Eileen's love of animals, the family would like
