OBITUARY:The funeral services for the late Clarence Hughes, victim of the
automobile accident recently in Avonport, held from the home of his sister,
Mrs. Albert Sweet, Thursday, at 2:30 o'clock, were conducted by Rev. Morris
Taylor, Rector of the Church of England, Hantsport, assisted by Mr. Chester
Jostram, Lic. The Avonport-Lockhartville choir rendered music. Pallbearers
were Gordon Sherman, Lester Corey, Paul Walsh and William Lockhart.
Interment was at Wolfville. Deceased leaves to mourn his father, S.S.
Hughes; three sisters, Mrs. Tibbetts, Diligent River; Mrs. Wilfred Troke,
Louisburg, C.B.; Mrs. A. Sweet, Avonport; one brother, Charles Hughes,
Avonport.
