OBITUARY: Frank Chesley York
After a brief illness, the death took place on June 11th at his home,
Eastern Ave., of Frank Chesley York, age 32 years. Born at Diligent River,
where interment took place on Sunday, Rev. C.R. Harris conducted the
service, with interment in the Diligent River Cemetery. Hymns sung at the
funeral service were: "Safe In The Arms Of Jesus" and "Softly And Tenderly".
Pallbearers were: Lorway Knowlton, Lewis Canning, Capt. John Taylor, Mr.
Arthur Boyd, Mr. P.W. Wright. He leaves to mourn, besides his wife and
little six-year old daughter, Gwen; brothers, Tom of Liverpool; Aubrey of
Annapolis; sisters, Evelyn, at home; Carrie (Mrs. Burpee Colpitts), of
Diligent River. His father and mother, Judson and Caroline York, also
survive.
