OBITUARY: William H. MacKenzie
The death of William H. MacKenzie occurred at his home, 22 Cornwall Avenue,
late Monday afternoon after an illness of several months duration. He was 58
years of age. He was born in Prince Edward Island, but had resided in
Amherst for over thirty years, and had been employed with the Canadian Car
and Foundry Company for over twenty-five years. The deceased is survived by
his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Blair White and Mrs. Vaughn Allen, both of
Amherst; seven sons, Colin, Lawrence, Daniel, Stanley, Willie, Laurie and
Donald; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mazerall, of Dorchester, Mass.; and Mrs.
Sadie Turner, of Maynard, Mass.; and one brother, Frank, of Amherst. The
funeral service will be held from his late home on Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock.
