Thursday, January 26, 1939.

The interior of Russell's Drug Store was badly gutted by fire on Friday
morning. The fire originated in the kitchen of the Knights of Pythias
Hall and burned down through the floor. A considerable amount of stock
was destroyed by fire and water.

George and Katherine (Ross) McKim. Married Harvey Douglas Young of
Utterson, Ontario, on July 25, 1952. No children. Predeceased by her
husband (December 1988), and her brother Laurence Ross McKim, Hartford,
NS (November 2003).

SCOTT, Roland Harris, 67, Malagash, January 22, 2009. Born in Malagash,
son of the late Ora and Clara (Langille) Scott. Surviving are his
sisters, Freda Patriquin, Wallace; Hilda (Melvin) Stevens, Pugwash Jct.;
Helen (George) Greenwood, Newport, Hants Co.; Hazel Trenholm, Pugwash,
and Jean Gayton, Tatamagouche; brother Lloyd Scott.

WHITE, Leo Joseph, 99, South Esk, NB, formerly of Springhill, Friday,
January 23, 2009. Born in Springhill on August 23, 1909, son of the
late John William and Mary Alice (Boudreau) White. Survived by
children: Virginia White, Halifax; Marianne (Greg) Colburne, Miramichi,
NB; Robert White, NB; sister Sylvia Dollemont, Moncton, NB. Predeceased
by his wife of 45 years, the former Irene Marie McMillan; children
Veronica Eva and Dorothy Jane MacKay; brothers Anthony, Alexander,
Gilbert and Theophilus; sisters Eva and Lena White and Olive Godfrey;
brother-in-law Joseph Dollemont Sr.

February 23, 1977, in Schefferville, QC. Survived by wife Anna;

REYNOLDS, Norma Annett, 69, Leamington, Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Born
in Leamington, daughter of Wanita B. (Fife) Lewis, Mapleton, and the
late Harold Russell Lewis. Survived by son Wesley (Petra) Reynolds,
Moncton, NB. Predeceased by husband Frank O. Reynolds.
