OBITUARY: Mrs. Vera Walsh
Word was received during the week by Clarence Lamb of this town of the
passing of his daughter, Mrs. John Walsh, which occurred at her home in New
Waterford, C.B., at the age of 29 years. Formerly Vera Lamb, the deceased
leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and five children. Also surviving are
three sisters, Miss Alma Lamb and Miss Eva Lamb, of Boston; and Mrs. Mrs.
Eileen MacDonald, of New Waterford; two brothers, Claude in Boston; and Carl
in Diligent River; and three half sisters, (Alma) Mrs. Murray Brown; Rhoda
and Helen Lamb, of Parrsboro; and two half brothers, George, of Parrsboro;
and Pte. Lloyd Lamb, stationed in Halifax.

OBITUARY: Ralph Lamb
The death occurred on Sunday, December 18th, of Ralph Lamb, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Lamb at the home of his parents at the age of sixteen years.
He had been ill with pneumonia for only four days, and his death came as a
great shock to all who knew him. Besides his sorrowing parents, he is
survived by two brothers, George and Lloyd; and three sisters, Anna, Mrs.
Murray Brown, and Rhoda and Helen at home. His brother, George is also
seriously ill with pneumonia. The funeral will be held today.

OBITUARY: Ralph D. Lamb
The funeral of the late Ralph D. Lamb, whose death occurred after a short
illness from pneumonia, was held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Lamb, Upper Main St., on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. J.N. Currie,
pastor of the United Baptist Church, conducted the service, assisted by the
choir. Interment was in the Baptist Cemetery here. The hymns sung were:
"Nearer Thy God To Thee", "Safe In The Hands Of Jesus" and "The Old Rugged
Cross". The pallbearers were: Paul Morse, Eddie Sellons, Hugh Warren and
Alex Boyd, chums of the deceased. The funeral was largely attended, as Ralph
was a general favorite and will be much missed by his family and young
friends.
