OBITUARY
OXFORD - Robert Leadbetter, 73, Oxford, N.S., died Thursday, September
12, 1985, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Port
Howe, he was a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Casey) Leadbetter.
He was a retired electrician. He is survived by his wife, the former
Ada Manning; three sons, Ralph, Kolbec; Walter, Westville; Lloyd, Little
River; two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Simpson and Glenda (Mrs. Robert
Daken), both of Little River; 15 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Laurie and a brother,
Walter. His remains rested at McDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford, from
where the funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m, David Hiller
officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford.
