OBITUARY: Earl W. Blenkhorn
Earl W. Blenkhorn, 57, of Digby and Windsor, died at the Digby General
Hospital Saturday, September 30th. Son of the late Medley and Lena (Duncan)
Blenkhorn, Parrsboro, he was born in Avonport. He is survived by his wife,
the former Bessie Fizzell, Windsor; one daughter, Linda, at home; five sons,
Donald, Earl, Jr., Bert and Tom, all of Toronto; Frederick, Bridgewater; six
grandchildren; two sisters, Mickie Morrissey, Boston; Dorothy Vears,
Cambridge, Mass.; three brothers, Robert and Donald of Toronto and Hayzen of
Alberta. The body is at R.D. Lindsay Funeral Home, Windsor, where a Masonic
service and a Legion service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. Funeral service
will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Lindsay Chapel with Rev. H.W. McLean
officiating, with interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
