Morton J. Dowe of Parrsboro

I can only assume at this time son, Thomas Dowe was either adopted by or
fostered out to Michael W. Morrissey and Enid J. Smith because of some
unknown problem between Morton John Dowe and Jennie Annie Smith.

Morton's obit mentions a son, Tommie in Peterborough.

Daughter, Maxine's obit mentions a brother, Thomas (Deanna) Dowe in
Peterborough.

James Morrissey's obit mentions a brother, Tom (Deanna) Dow in Ontario.

A birth date for Thomas Dowe would possibly explain a few things along a
time line.

Note: Feel there was some confusion in getting a birth certificate in order
to apply for his Old Age Pension at age 65 and "born Glasgow" was
interpreted as born in New Glasgow rather than Glasgow Mountain.
