MORRIS, Flora A. - 91, Smith Avenue, Parrsboro, died Thursday, September 26, 2002, in Highcrest Nursing Home, Springhill. Born in Yorke Settlement, Cumberland Co., she was a daughter of the late Percy and Jennie (Smith) Chandler. She was a member of Parrsboro Baptist Church, Parrsboro. Flora lived life to the fullest, enjoying the humorous side of situations. She enjoyed music, dancing and her many friends. Her greatest joy in life came from her family. She is survived by daughters, Maureen (Robert) Power, Parrsboro; Mrs. Barbara O'Laney, Amherst; Isabelle (Philip) Brown, Maccan; Esther (Jack) Boyd, Nappan; sons, Morley (Gail), St. Claire (Judi) and Conrad (Gerry), all of Peterborough, Ont.; Boyd (Jeannette), Brookdale; Mike, Parrsboro; sisters, Viola (Russell) Pettis, Five Islands; Bonna Walker, New Ross; Iva Bowden, Peterborough; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; four great great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Vaughn; infant son, Vaughn; grandchildren, Patti Lee Brown, Conrad Morris Jr.; great- grandchild, Caleb Morris; sisters, Levaida, Rena; brother, Mantsell. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Robert Richmond officiating. Burial in Parrsboro United Cemetery.
