Hi Pat

George is living in Calgary in 1928, 1932, and 1951 so he died after
1951. But I don't have a death date for him or Lizzie.

This might be him in the 1911 Census, if so then he has remarried.

1911 Alberta Census
Family # 133, Calgary
McKay George M Head M Apr 1878 33
McKay Edna F Wife M May 1885 26
McKay Phyllis F Daughter S Mar 1911 4/12
Warren Nettie F Step-daughter S Sep 1907 4

In the delayed Birth Registration for his sister Elizabeth McKay,
Registration Year: 1884 - Book: 1884 - Page: 99000552 - Number:
George writes a letter stating that he is an older brother and left home
in 1909.

So there is a chance that Lizzie died between 1902 and 1909.
Just found it. Headstone at Riverside Cemetery, "In Memory of Lizzie
J., wife of George McKay, died Oct. 19, 1905, aged 30 yrs. Also their
son Walter, aged 3 weeks.
