OBITUARY - Nelson Hoben
Fox River lost it's oldest life-long resident when Nelson Hoben passed away
Saturday, February 25th. He was in his 91st year. A member of Holy Trinity
Anglican Church, he served for many years as church warden and as a member
of the vestry. He was also a member of the K. of P. Lodge.
His wife, Anna Kerr Hoben predeceased him in 1946 and since then, his
daughter, Mrs. Jean Wilson, has resided with him. Mrs. Wilson is the only
one surviving of a family of five sons and three daughters. There were two
grandsons, Hoben Wilson in Oregon, U.S.A. and Robert Wilson, of Florida,
The funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Harold
Kay, with burial in the Anglican Cemetery.
